Custom Die-Cut Gaskets & Seals

U.S. Nameplate Co. has decades of experience fabricating custom gaskets for demanding industrial applications. Our state-of-the-art die-cutting and digital cutting equipment allows us to produce gaskets in virtually any shape, size, or material configuration. From simple flat gaskets to complex multi-layer assemblies, we deliver precision-cut parts that meet your sealing requirements and withstand the toughest operating environments.

Materials

We stock and convert a broad selection of gasket materials to meet the mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance demands of your application:

Elastomers

  • EPDM – Excellent weather, ozone, and UV resistance; temperature range -40°F to +250°F; durometer 40–80 Shore A
  • Neoprene (CR) – Good oil and flame resistance; temperature range -40°F to +220°F; durometer 40–80 Shore A
  • Silicone – Wide temperature range -65°F to +450°F; FDA-compliant grades available; durometer 20–80 Shore A
  • Nitrile (Buna-N) – Superior oil and fuel resistance; temperature range -30°F to +250°F
  • Viton® (FKM) – Outstanding chemical and high-temperature resistance up to +400°F
  • Natural Rubber – High tensile strength and elasticity; good abrasion resistance

Foams & Non-Metallic Materials

  • Poron® Foam – Microcellular urethane for cushioning, sealing, and vibration dampening; recovers >90% after compression
  • Neoprene Sponge – Closed-cell foam for weather sealing and insulation
  • Cork – Natural compressibility; oil-resistant composite grades available
  • Cork-Rubber Composites – Combines cork compressibility with rubber resilience
  • Fiber (Compressed Non-Asbestos) – CNA gasket sheets for flange sealing
  • Felt – Wool and synthetic felt for wicking, filtering, and cushioning
  • PTFE (Teflon®) – Chemically inert; excellent for corrosive media
Gasket materials including EPDM, neoprene, silicone, cork, and Poron foam

Cutting Processes

U.S. Nameplate Co. uses precision cutting methods to produce gaskets with tight tolerances and clean edges:

  • Die Cutting – Steel rule dies and clicker presses for high-volume production runs. Ideal for repeatable parts requiring consistent dimensions across thousands of pieces.
  • Digital Cutting / CNC Routing – Knife and router cutting on flatbed plotters for prototypes, short runs, and complex geometries. No tooling charges; fast turnaround for design iterations.
  • Kiss Cutting – Cuts through the gasket material only, leaving the adhesive liner intact for easy peel-and-stick installation.
  • Waterjet Cutting – For thicker materials and applications requiring no heat-affected zone.
